The League is a five-week experience for riders 4-15 years of age, which includes instruction and racing, in equal measure, each session. Parents and Grandparents of riders can also participate in the League, and can do so for $50 off the Youth tuition.

The Beginners-only Summer 2025 League season starts Monday, June 9 (6:00PM), and runs on the following schedule:

June 9 – 6:00PM to 8:30PM
June 16 – 6:00PM to 8:30PM
June 23 – 6:00PM to 8:30PM
June 30 – 6:00PM to 8:30PM
July 7 – 6:00PM to 8:30PM

Des Moines BMX League is a Beginners-Only program that takes riders gradually through the steps to becoming a BMX racer. It’s a great family atmosphere, and we often have three-generations of a family participating (adults ride for $50 off, with an enrolled child).

The $169 Tuition includes a League jersey, loaner bike and helmet (if needed), personalized number plate, season-end award and pizza party. Parents and immediate family members of enrolled riders ride for $119, or $50-off the Youth tuition.

-Loaner equipment is limited in availability, and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis (in the order in which you sign up). This league does not require any special racing bike, and chances are that the bike your rider has in the garage will work just-fine. In the event we do not have enough loaner bikes or helmets to accommodate all requests, we will “buddy-up” riders, NOBODY is turned away.

*IMPORTANT*

– Riders must be able to ride a pedal bike, without training wheels, to participate in either Open House or League activities.
